Vote on April 5 The final open seat (Ward 2) for the Oklahoma City Council will be filled by a runoff election between Charlie Swinton and Ed Shadid on Tuesday, April 5. Whoever is elected will play a vital role in the implementation of MAPS 3 and other projects voted on by the citizens. It is imperative the business community exercises their right to vote and advocates for candidates who will sustain and grow our momentum as a city. The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is Wednesday, March 30. Early voting will be held Friday, April 1 and Monday, April 4 at the Oklahoma County Election Board.
