Vote on April 5

The final open seat (Ward 2) for the Oklahoma City Council will be filled by a runoff election between Charlie Swinton and Ed Shadid on Tuesday, April 5. Whoever is elected will play a vital role in the implementation of MAPS 3 and other projects voted on by the citizens. It is imperative the business community exercises their right to vote and advocates for candidates who will sustain and grow our momentum as a city.

The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail is Wednesday, March 30. Early voting will be held Friday, April 1 and Monday, April 4 at the Oklahoma County Election Board. For more information on voting please visit the Oklahoma County Election Board website.

Nonstop Air Service

Beginning April 5, American Airlines will offer daily nonstop service between Oklahoma City and Los Angeles (LAX). Will Rogers World Airport provides nonstop flights to 19 airports across the country with six airlines flying nonstop to 19 destinations in 17 cities. Nonstop flights are critical for business so please help support them when you can. See flights.

Breaking Through Luncheon: March 30

Exciting developments and changes are taking place throughout the central city. Hear about the growth of several districts and developments at the Breaking Through luncheon on Wednesday, March 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Skirvin Hilton, 1 Park Ave.

TRDC Prospective Volunteer Info Session: March 31

Curious why more than 100 community leaders participate in the Total Resource Development Campaign (TRDC)? TRDC is the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber's annual fundraising campaign and membership drive. It is a fun way to connect with Oklahoma City's decision makers and improve your sales and networking skills. An information session will be held Thursday, March 31 from 4 to 5 p.m., at INTEGRIS Cancer Institute of Oklahoma, 5911 W. Memorial. Space is limited so please register.

We Inspire Conference

The Women's Entrepreneurs Inspire Conference (WE Inspire) will return to Oklahoma City on Tuesday, April 5 at the Cox Convention Center, 1 Myriad Gardens. Last year the conference had nearly 650 attendees and was also named a Top Ten Women Entrepreneurs Conference. Read more.

Mayor's Roundtable

Mayor Mick Cornett will be hosting his annual Mayor's Development Roundtable on Wednesday, May 11 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Cox Convention Center, 1 Myriad Gardens.

DC Visit: June 22-23

The Chamber will sponsor a two-day trip to Washington D.C. on June 22-23.
